Screenwriting in the summer

A screenwriter instructor commented he enjoyed reading scripts on his balcony. I have not taken that step outdoors with my screenwriting. But after reading that comment I have decided a change up of writing some outdoors would be a great idea. I thought of several ideas including writing by waterfall, in the park, in my backyard, in a treehouse and on my balcony. Have fun writing this summer.

Screenwriting in a friendly competition

If you have been wanting to get more motivated in your screenwriting, perhaps joining a friendly screenwriting competition could be just the helpful thing to get you going. I have entered a couple of them to keep me motivated. If you are on Twitter, join the screenwriting groups to participate in the races. One of my favorite is the ScriptRace but another one is ScriptFrenzy. It is also another way to meet some of your fellow screenwriters!
